Cobra iRadar app good for

If you just have the app its 1-2 star but if you buy the iradar it really compliments the app. Seriously I bought my iradar for $130 CAN and if you put the app with it its like owning those other laser/radar/GPS that usually are $500 and up. Its a steal seriously, you cant complain.

This app is for the I radar... So if you have the radar its great! There meant to work together neither will work by themselves.

Seamless integration of laser/radar detection with database threat spots. I did -1 for poor iOS 4 background service support.

I currently only have iRafar app, but I intend to buy radar so it will detect my battery status, and warn me ahead of speed trap and photo scanners. iRadar works very good with my iPhone. Its great.

Just the radar detector weve been waiting for. Perfect price for the unit and yes the iPhone Bluetooth pairs with multiple devices

Some bad moments

The App crashes everiytime I want to start it! It works fine on iOS 8 maybe also on iOS 7. But I dont want to install the ugly newer iOS, just to be able to run the app. I hope the bugs will be removed soon... in the meantime the spent 150$ for the device are useless...

iRadar needs an overhaul! I was really looking forward to this piece of hardware....until I tried it. Heres the rundown: PRO: Works like a reg radar detector. CON: Works like a reg radar detector. The app is useless. 1. Unfortunately, there is NO advance notice of known radar sites. If there is a known radar trap at coordinates x,y, you dont know until you are RIGHT on the x,y site! Even Trapster (search it on app store) puts a large detection bubble around your car....giving you MUCH advance notice BEFORE you hit the trap or red-light cam. Also, when some alerts DO show on the iPhone screen, they are a quick flash....too quick to read! Also, I tried reporting a trap.....the Thank-you box stayed on the screen and blocked it FAR too long! Also....and Ive read this complaint before...there are no AUDIO alerts through the iPhone! Much needed for bikers like myself. All in all......COULD be a great system. For now, if you have the money....buy s reg Cobra Radar detector! If you dont, I HIGHLY recommend Trapster.

When using phone via USB for playing music on iPhone with a deck that controls all music functions, the audio from the app disables iPhone music. Should be a passive mute-alert-resume, just as the gps does. Sad to say this is why I am not in favor of this app....until they fix this issue. There should be no reason to have to go and re-select the playlist or song that gets interrupted by iRadar. Missed a step there boys and girls...

My app suddenly goes black after the initial cover page. I deleted it, redownloaded it and still.. Was the best now its nothing..
