Potential but worthless now

This system has great potential but is missing one key feature. If the app is in the background in loses connectivity to the detector there is no notification to the user. I asked them to fix this more than 6 months ago.

It is a very simple fix. I would be willing to rewrite the app myself to get this feature. Until it is in place this device is dangerous.
