Just bought CCDC4420

Okay... Ive been able to use this device for about an hour now with the app. I passed two camera lights but not once did it alert me.
The app is outdated and made for iPhone 5 or lower. Screen size it large and doesnt work properly with iPhone 6 or above.
Im not very pleased as I bought the camera for the app alerts... If it continues to fail, Ill return camera.
