The only thing preventing a 5 star and most probably a spike in sales is the audio capability. As mentioned the radar warning for the App comes from the detector and not from the iPhone device. Many apps have music interruption when presenting a warning. Regardless of whether it is a car or motorcycle, when you are listening to the iPhone/IPod or GPS and the warning does not come over that same source, it is all washed out. Make the promised upgraded and you will truly have a one of a kind Radar Detector that will stand above all. I highly recommend the detector once they workout the software situation otherwise it is a reduced function Trapster.

Too much useless info on the screen at all times. Voltmeter, speedometer? An option that would black out the screen UNTIL an alert, which should be realistically a flashing red light would be better. Plus a HUD mirrored option would be nice.

The detector appears to work good on the highway but as other users commented it would be excellent to have the sound incorporated into the iOS device so it would lower music volume, play the alert then resume music playback. The best tweak I feel would be an asset is the ability to select different alert tones for different warning types so you wouldnt have to look at the phone to see what the alert was as most times I miss what the voice said from the detector itself. This would mostly be avoided by iOS integration as I first mentioned but a quick custom sound alert would also be a nice addition.

When using phone via USB for playing music on iPhone with a deck that controls all music functions, the audio from the app disables iPhone music. Should be a passive mute-alert-resume, just as the gps does. Sad to say this is why I am not in favor of this app....until they fix this issue. There should be no reason to have to go and re-select the playlist or song that gets interrupted by iRadar. Missed a step there boys and girls...

Would get five if I didnt have to restart my tunes every time a warning came on. Like others have said it needs a fix.

Not bad. A couple of flaws that really need to be addressed. Advance warning of known radar hotspots should be in advance, not when I get there. Otherwise whats the point? Second and extremely frustrating is the way the app integrates with my music on my iPhone. It doesnt. It just overtakes it an I have to reset my music every time Cobra kicks in. Its the only app I have come across that does this. This one reason alone is why I would drop this app after a short while IF no fix is available soon. The ability to tap very quickly in a hotspot to warn others is an easy to use feature which encourages all users to continue to help build the data base.

New to this detector but with luck I have had from cobra before I decided to give this a try, so far Im pretty happy with it

I love the Bluetooth capability. But the Surete du Quebec outside of Quebec City can detect iRadar. So all u users passing thru that area, be aware.

This app works as advertised. Detects all bands and gives you a heads up for any radar and traffic cams. Also for the app to have full functionality you need either the Cobra iRad-100 or iRad-200.

Works quite well most of the time, speed and direction are hit & miss (app or 3GS?). Occasionally warns of a train coming in the middle of a parking lol... Lol! Keep up the good work!

This app its simply amazing, even if you dont have a laser radar. Totally recommended.

The most recent update is a great step on building this app. Works great the way it is, but better music integration and the ability to run in the background and pop up when notifications are needed would be some great ideas if the app wants to keep progressing.

I want to ask if it requires a 3g, lte or any wifi signal while using the device? I just want to ask before i made a purchase.

Its hard to reconnect it doesnt reconnect by itself we have to put off And put it on back the radar. The application should I have a real GPS so we can Can use it as a GPS for location and at the same time at the radar application working. But for the rest its Awesome in your car no more tickets!!!
