Its pretty good. I use it along with the iradar detector and it has warned me about upcoming speed traps and police. Just wish it ran a little smoother.

It would be really nice if I could set certain points as false. There is a school zone by my house with a K band that always goes off. I dont want to permanently turn off K band but I also dont want it to go off in a place I know theres nothing . Add that feature and you can have your last start! :)

My app suddenly goes black after the initial cover page. I deleted it, redownloaded it and still.. Was the best now its nothing..

I have the Radar app running with the sound off as it interrupts any media i’m playing, be nice the alert to come to my Apple Watch then I can tap the watch to mute :) Just a thought

Really? Pokemon on my radar detector? The last thing people need to be worrying about is Pokemon while theyre driving.

the app is effectively useless on the iPhone. you have to manually bring the app active for it to connect to the radar detector, or select "auto launch" which will cause a permissions popup every time it connects. so either way, you going to have to unlock your phone everytime you get in your car. otherwise you dont get any of the clound alerts etc... I have contacted customer suppor on this issue and their response was basically ¯_(ツ)_/¯.

This system has great potential but is missing one key feature. If the app is in the background in loses connectivity to the detector there is no notification to the user. I asked them to fix this more than 6 months ago. It is a very simple fix. I would be willing to rewrite the app myself to get this feature. Until it is in place this device is dangerous.

This app lacks the iPad version. Maybe when this is solved I would and many others of the cobra device owners start using it.

Had just installed a pair of new SPX 7800BT units. While connecting 2nd unit a squad car pulled up down the block to set up a speed trap. The radar was not pointed directly at us and was down the street about 1000ft. The first unit I had finished setting up reported a Ka radar hit and the iRadar app reported it to the cloud. As I finished the 2nd setup, the newest unit updated and alerted that the first unit had seen a threat. Flawless and accurate the SPX 7800BT along with the iRadar app performed admirably right out of the box. Since then weve seen alerts from other users as well. Well done! Edit: since IOS 10 I have not been able to mark caution areas or even mark police cars not running radar.

Unable to report false location and report police

Ive used my iradar for many yrs and loved it. It no longer picks up any signals since upgraded to iPhone 6. It will connect thru Bluetooth and will give any notifications thru the app such as live police, etc. But the police Radar signals will not work at all. Please help!

Ive used this very effectively for years and really like the crowd sourced function, but it no longer get crowd reports and my reports no longer upload. May be a problem with new iOS. 2 stars because the detector works, but the app doesnt.

Okay... Ive been able to use this device for about an hour now with the app. I passed two camera lights but not once did it alert me. The app is outdated and made for iPhone 5 or lower. Screen size it large and doesnt work properly with iPhone 6 or above. Im not very pleased as I bought the camera for the app alerts... If it continues to fail, Ill return camera.

I keep wanting it to get better. Why not integrate Apple maps? Why no dark mode for night driving? Why no "only when using" for location services?
